In
an opening match played at Radford High School gym today, Waiakea
defeated Kailua 25-18, 18-25, 25-22.  The Lady Warriors gain the
final spot in the Division I State Tournament and will play Roosevelt
in the 1st Round Wednesday at the Hilo Civic Auditorium.

The game was neccessary due to a tie in the HHSAA calculations for the final spot.
