Cypress of California advanced to the consolation final behind Michael
Stone’s game high 14 points. Cypress (8-6) used a 22-2 run to close out the
first half and take control of the game against Sedro Wooley (1-6)

Jeremiah Campbell’s 26 points and a 13-2 run in the third quarter to lead by

The Spartans from Nevada (8-5) were led by Mike Cutright with a tournament

The host Division I Crusaders advanced to the Classic Championship Final
with
a 21-5 midway through the third quarter to take a 50-40 lead and never
looked
back.

The Crusaders won their ninth consecutive game in the Classic dating back to

2004 and will be seeking their third consecutive Walter Wong Holiday
Basketball Classic Championship.

To do so, the Crusaders will have to defeat one of the elite teams in
California (10th ranked Martin Luther King 12-1) for the third straight
year.
(2005 defeated 9th ranked St. Marys and 2006 defeated Arlington – who
finished third in its division in 2006 behind division champion Martin
Luther
King)

The Crusaders were led by four players in double figures (McClinton 21,
Miller 16, Gonsalves 12 and Shidaki 11)

The Antlers were led by Kyle Fergurson and Jordan Lundeen – each with 11
points.
